A meeting of the government commission to investigate the causes and eliminate the consequences of the emergency that led to the deaths of servicemen in the Mangystau region was held in the city of Aktau. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, heads of central government and law enforcement agencies reported on the progress of investigative measures, as well as on measures to provide assistance to the families of deceased servicemen and those injured.
The chairman of the government commission, Kanat Bozumbayev, noted that the state fully assumes all obligations to support the families of deceased servicemen.
"Guaranteed payments provided by law will be made without delay. Responsible specialists will be assigned to provide ongoing targeted support to each family," Bozumbayev said.
Gratitude was also expressed to members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Kurultai, political parties, entrepreneurs, patrons, and concerned citizens for their solidarity.
"Thanks to the civic initiative, the necessary funds were raised for a special fund. In this regard, the fundraising work has been declared completed," the Mangystau region akimat reported.
A special commission has been created to distribute the fund's resources to families and affected persons in an open, targeted, and fair manner. Law enforcement and government agencies have been instructed to establish strict control over the targeted use of funds.
