Financial aid to the families of fallen servicemen in the Mangystau region has been distributed equally. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Mangystau Regional Public Council, Bekmurat Zhusipov. He stated that all necessary assistance and support is being provided to the families of those killed during exercises in the Caspian Sea and to the injured servicemen.

"According to the results of the Commission's work, all funds received by the fund were distributed fairly and equally among the families of the fallen servicemen in accordance with the decisions adopted by the Commission and in the manner established by law. In addition, separate payments were provided for the servicemen who survived the incident. The amount of material assistance provided to them was determined in accordance with the Commission's decisions," said Zhusipov.

As it became known, taking into account the requests of relatives and close ones of the servicemen, as well as in order to ensure their safety and confidentiality of personal data, the exact amount of payments and personal data of the recipients of funds are not disclosed.

Recall that after the tragedy in Mangystau, a special fund "Ulttyq Rukh" was established to accumulate funds received from the country's large enterprises, entrepreneurs and patrons. A special Commission was created to ensure fair and targeted distribution of the received funds.

Its composition included representatives of law enforcement agencies and the public, deputies of the Kurultai, members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, representatives of public councils and maslikhats.
