In Mangystau Region, with the consent of the Presidential Administration, a first deputy akim of the region, a deputy akim of the region and the akim of the city of Zhanaozen have been appointed. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Yerbol Izbergenov — First Deputy Akim of the Region

Yerbol Izbergenov has been appointed First Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region. He was born in 1973 in the village of Kuryk, Karakiya District, Mangystau Region.

He began his career in 1991 as a bricklayer at the construction and installation section of the integrated expedition "Mangistaumunaigazrazvedka." Over the years he worked in regional-level construction organizations and in the Akimat of Aktau, and held the positions of Deputy Akim of Munaily District and Head of the Regional Construction Department.

He also worked as a department head at the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and at the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2019–2020, he was Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "Special Economic Zone 'Aktau Sea Port'," and later Director of the "Atameken" National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

In 2020–2023, he held the positions of Deputy Akim of Aktau and Akim of Aktau. In 2024–2025, he served as First Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region. From September 2, 2025 until now, he has served as Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region.

Bekbol Orynbasarov — Deputy Akim of the Region

Bekbol Orynbasarov has been appointed Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region. He was born in 1971 in Tupkaragan District, Mangystau Region.

He began his career in 1993 as an inspector at the "Bautino" customs post of the Mangystau Regional Customs Administration. Over the years he worked in the banking sector, in the Akimat of Aktau and in state bodies of Mangystau Region.

He worked as Assistant to the Akim of Aktau, Head of the Akimat's Office of Aktau, Head of the Department of Housing, Passenger Transport and Highways of Aktau, and Deputy Akim of Aktau.

In 2010–2019, he served as General Director of "Otyrar Energy" LLP and "Adai" LLP. In 2020–2021, he was Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "Special Economic Zone 'Aktau Sea Port'." In 2021–2023, he served as Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region, and later as First Deputy. In 2023–2026, he was a deputy of the seventh and eighth convocations of the Senate of Parliament.

Symbat Turetaev — Akim of Zhanaozen

Symbat Turetaev has been appointed Akim of the city of Zhanaozen. He was born in 1978 in the village of Zhetibai, Yeraliev District, Mangystau Region.

He began his career in 2000 as an operative officer in the Organized Crime Combat Department of the Mangystau Regional Internal Affairs Administration. He later worked as a senior operative officer and a senior operative officer for especially important cases.

In 2006–2010, he served as Director of "Nur" LLP. In 2010–2014, he was Akim of the village of Munayshy, Karakiya District. In 2015–2017, he served as Head of the Department for Work with Law Enforcement Agencies, Counter-Terrorism, Mobilization Preparation and Civil Protection of the Akimat's Office of Mangystau Region.

In 2017–2019, he was Head of the Counter-Terrorism Department of the Akimat's Office of Mangystau Region. In 2019–2023, he served as Deputy Akim of Karakiya District. Since May 2023 until now, he has served as Akim of Karakiya District.
