A shooting occurred in the village of Akshukur, Mangystau Region, resulting in two people being injured. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
As a result of the incident, two people were injured and taken to the hospital. There were no fatalities.
Criminal cases have been initiated under four articles. According to the Mangystau Regional Police Department, “criminal cases have been initiated on charges of attempted murder, hooliganism, as well as illegal possession and sale of cold weapons.”
Police have established the circumstances of the incident. “As a result of operational search activities, the participants in the conflict were identified and detained. Currently, four suspects have been placed in a temporary detention facility,” the police statement said.
An investigation is underway.
