A woman in the Mangystau region who did not receive financial support from her husband has recovered alimony through court. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The parties married in 2024. They have a common minor child. In 2026, a court order recovered child support from the defendant. Currently, the spouses' marriage has not been legally dissolved.

The plaintiff applied to the court, stating that the defendant does not voluntarily provide financial assistance. In this regard, she asked to recover alimony for her maintenance until the child, born in 2025, reaches the age of three, the court statement said.

The court found the plaintiff's claims justified. As a result, the man is obliged to pay alimony monthly in the amount of 20 monthly calculation indices (MCI). The court decision has entered into legal force.
