Schoolchildren in the Mangystau region will be given shubat. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the regional akimat, starting from the new school year, students will be provided with the national drink – shubat – for free. This measure is aimed at improving children's health and promoting national products.
Shubat is a traditional Kazakh drink made from camel milk. Its beneficial properties are well-known: it boosts immunity and improves digestion. The regional akimat considers this initiative as a pilot project and plans to expand it to all schools in the future.
Parents and teachers support this decision. In their opinion, shubat has a positive effect on children's health. It also contributes to preserving Kazakh national culture.
In the first phase of the project, shubat will be provided in several schools in the region. It is planned to give students one glass of shubat per day. Agreements have been made with local camel farms for this purpose.
Representatives of the regional akimat emphasize that special attention is paid to the quality of shubat. Each batch undergoes inspection for compliance with sanitary standards. Medical monitoring is also carried out to prevent allergic reactions in children.
This initiative could serve as an example for other regions of Kazakhstan. If the project is successful, it is planned to expand it across the republic.
