Kazakh sports blogger Aitym Zhakupov became the hero of an unusual story during a trip to Miami. His car was stopped by a police officer for a turn signal not turned off, but a routine check unexpectedly turned into a friendly conversation. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
In a video published on Instagram, the officer asks Zhakupov to show his driver's license. The blogger clarifies whether Kazakh documents are acceptable, and his companions explain to the officer that they have registration.
Then the officer smiles, talks to Aitym, and even jokes. At one point, he says that instead of a fine, the blogger "must drop 200 burpees" (one of the most intense exercises in fitness), causing laughter among all participants.
"I just recognized you right away. How are you? Where are you from?" the officer asks.
In response, Zhakupov asks where the officer himself is from. He replies that he came from Turkmenistan.
Then the blogger sends greetings to Turkmenistan, and the officer sends greetings to Kazakhstan. The officer also praised Zhakupov's project.
The video quickly spread across social media. Users called the meeting kind and unexpected, and many noted the friendly atmosphere and the officer's sense of humor.
"What a nice prank," "What a great video! Both the cop and Aitym are just awesome," "Now that's a turn," users write.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle wrote that popular blogger and workout record holder Aitym Zhakupov, whom many call "the strongest man in the country," turned his experience into a tool to fight obesity. His videos as part of the social reality show JanaMen, where he helps overweight people lose weight and even change their lives, garner millions of views.
