Kazakhstan's Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiev met with Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) to discuss technology and digital economy development. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the Binance delegation was presented with the CryptoCity concept in AlatauCity and the Data Center Valley project aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan's position as a regional hub in artificial intelligence. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development.
According to Madiev, Kazakhstan is now moving to the next stage of digital asset market development – from forming a regulatory environment to building infrastructure and practical solutions.
"Our task is to create conditions where new financial technologies contribute to economic development, attract investment, and enable new digital services. Partnership with global technology companies allows us to move faster to practical implementation of initiatives," said Zhaslan Madiev.
During the meeting, the partnership of Binance Pay with Alatau City Bank was presented, and two memorandums were signed with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development and the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).
