Electric vehicle maker Lucid announced it will cut about 18% of its US workforce and that Chief Operating Officer Peter Winterhoff is leaving the company. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.
The cuts are part of the company's plan to reduce costs and ramp up production. Lucid currently employs about 6,500 people in the US. The move is aimed at strengthening the company's financial stability.
