The capital's monitoring and emergency response center explained where to get personalized school and discount LRT transport cards. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The card can be obtained in two ways. The first option is to visit any LRT station, where the card will be issued immediately after registration. The second method involves submitting an application via transcard.kz and then receiving the card at the Central Cash Office.

The Central Cash Office is located at: Astana, Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev Avenue, 50/1.

The cost of issuing a transport card is 1200 tenge.

Personalized school cards can be issued to students of capital educational institutions aged 7 to 18 years.

Discount transport cards are available to residents of Astana who are registered and permanently reside in the capital, and belong to preferential categories approved by the city maslikhat.

The full list of categories eligible for discounted travel is published in the appendix to the Public Contract on the CTS website.

To apply for a card, you need to provide a birth certificate or identity card, a certificate from the place of study or a document confirming the right to a benefit, as well as a 3×4 photo.

Cash office staff can take a photo on the spot.

When submitting documents, originals must be presented to verify the presence of stamps and official seals.

Special requirements are provided for certain preferential categories, including guardians, legal representatives, mothers of large families, and large families.

The pension certificate must contain a current mark on the validity period of the benefit, certified by the official seal of the interdepartmental settlement center for social payments in Astana or the NJSC 'Government for Citizens'.

Issuance of personalized cards at stations is carried out daily from 07:00 to 19:45. A break is provided from 13:00 to 14:00.

Transport cards for travel on city and suburban bus routes are issued exclusively at the Central Cash Office.
