Lithuania said an object reported as a drone turned out to be a flock of birds. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.
The incident became known after NATO scrambled its fighter jets. After the object was detected in the airspace, military forces responded promptly and sent aircraft into the air.
However, a subsequent check revealed that the object was not a drone but a flock of birds. The Lithuanian side thus clarified the situation.
