The profit of the Gornyak artel, part of the Akzhal Gold Resources gold mining company, amounted to 8 billion tenge in 2025. This is 2.3% more than a year earlier.
The company's revenue from the sale of its main product amounted to 37.6 billion tenge – 47% more than a year earlier. The company earns from selling gold-bearing flotation concentrate and sulfide gold-bearing ore to Kazakhmys Corporation at a fixed price. At the same time, the cost of sales also increased by 24% – to 15.8 billion tenge.
The company's profit was significantly reduced by an increase in administrative expenses – by 2.7 times, to 4 billion tenge, as well as other expenses – to 3.7 billion tenge. Previously, the company had income in this category.
The company has licenses to develop the Karazhal, Akshola and Yuzhny Akzhal deposits in the Abai region.
The company has large loans. In September 2022, it entered into an agreement with Bank RBK to open a long-term credit line for a total amount equivalent to $70 million. As of the end of 2025, the amount of liabilities to the bank amounted to 3.7 billion tenge.
In 2025, the company declared and paid dividends in the amount of 1.2 billion tenge to its shareholder – Akzhal Gold Resources.
It should be noted that the Gornyak artel, through Akzhal Gold Resources and the Dutch International Private Equity Initiative B.V., belongs to Liechtenstein citizen Adrian Roman Rheinberger.
