Leningrad concert in Konayev: impressions and complaints from viewers
On June 6, a concert by the scandalous Russian band Leningrad took place in the city of Konayev, Almaty region. The show was held at the ASP Arena, which usually hosts drift shows. Fans are posting dozens of videos from the concert and sharing their emotions. Many admit that after the performance they "became hoarse from singing along to their favorite hits." This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to concertgoers, the artists had to be delayed by 15 minutes due to an accident. After that, the show went off without incident. All the band's main hits were performed on stage: "Exponat," "WWW," and "V Pitere — pit." Particularly noted was the artist's ability to communicate with the audience and have heartfelt, truly touching conversations about pressing issues.
However, some viewers did not like this either. On social media, users complained about traffic jams on the way to the venue and a lack of parking spaces.
After the concert, the band's lead singer Sergei Shnurov thanked the Kazakh audience.
"It was a hot, incredible, and truly summer concert by the band Leningrad," the musician wrote on Threads.
However, there were complaints. According to some visitors, they had to walk several kilometers through sand to reach the venue, there were not enough parking spaces, and after the concert many were stuck in traffic jams for a long time on the way to Almaty.
However, such complaints can hardly be called unusual. Parking problems, long walking routes, and traffic jams on the way out regularly accompany large events outside the city. Suffice it to recall festivals at the Pervomaiskiye Ponds, after which social media also filled with stories about multi-hour journeys home.
The best solution to avoid crowding or traffic jams is to leave the concert early. Sometimes even 15 minutes can significantly save time on the road, and if you listened until the end, then don't be discouraged while waiting for a taxi.
Before this show, the band had not pleased local fans for quite a long time. Their last major concert in Kazakhstan took place in the summer on June 30, 2018, at the Almaty Arena.
