Two men have been detained in the city of Lengir, Turkistan region, on suspicion of brutally beating a pensioner. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the regional police department, experienced criminal police officers identified the suspects and their places of residence. Two residents of Tolebi district were detained and taken into custody as suspects.
A criminal case has been opened on the incident.
Earlier it was reported that in Lengir, unknown persons broke into a house at night and brutally beat a 65-year-old woman. The victim's brother was involved in lending money at interest.
