For the Russian Federation, settling the issue concerning Ukraine means fulfilling the goals set at the start of the special military operation and eliminating the root causes of the conflict. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. It was reported by RIA Novosti.
"For us, a full settlement of the situation in Ukraine means fulfilling the goals set at the start of the special military operation, that is, aimed at eliminating the root causes of the crisis," Lavrov said at the World Youth Festival.
The International Youth Festival is being held in Yekaterinburg from September 11 to 17.
