Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, speaking at the World Youth Festival, said that any location for negotiations on Ukraine, including Serbia, could be considered if it is convenient for the participants. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Responding to a question about the possibility of using Serbia as a platform for negotiations on Ukraine, Lavrov said: "Anything that is convenient for the participants of the negotiations is possible."

He had previously noted openness to bilateral and trilateral negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Switzerland is not being considered for negotiations on Ukraine.
