Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he will ask US Secretary of State Marco Rubio about Washington's current position on resolving the conflict in Ukraine during their meeting. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"President (Donald) Trump said that the conflict in Ukraine could be resolved soon. I will ask Marco Rubio about this tomorrow. Moreover, he also expressed an ambiguous opinion about the outcome of the meeting in Anchorage. In any case, this meeting will be useful. It is better to ask questions directly and get answers directly," Lavrov said following the Russia-ASEAN ministerial council.
He said that the meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been agreed and will take place tomorrow before noon.
