Lavrov: US will be forced to consider interests of all parties

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the US will eventually be forced to consider the interests of all parties. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Lavrov made this statement while answering journalists' questions at a press conference held during the 23rd meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.

"Currently, the US is striving to unilaterally advance its own interests. However, the United States of America is forced to establish contacts with countries like Russia and China. During these negotiations, steps that suit the interests of both sides will be discussed," Lavrov said.

"This is the essence of what I call 'life itself forces it'," the Russian Foreign Minister added.

The 23rd meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club is being held from September 28 to October 1.
