Sociological institutes have presented the first exit poll data following the voting in the elections for the Kurultai deputies. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to surveys of citizens leaving polling stations, the Adilet party holds the leading position with over 70% of the votes.

Voting results

Voting in the Kurultai elections has concluded in Kazakhstan. All polling stations in the country have closed. Voting took place from 07:00 to 20:00. A total of 10,363 stations operated across Kazakhstan.

Candidate data

A total of 545 candidates from seven parties are vying for seats in the new parliament. The lists include 172 women and 373 men, 19 candidates have disabilities, and 74 are under 35 years old. The average age of candidates is 45.4 years.

Party order

The order of parties on the ballot was determined by drawing lots. The Adilet party fielded the most candidates — 186. Following are Respublica — 75, People's Party of Kazakhstan — 72, Auyl — 69, Ak Zhol — 63, Baitak — 47, and OSDP — 33 candidates.

Funding

34.3 billion tenge was allocated from the government reserve for organizing and conducting the elections.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that the preliminary voter turnout in the Kurultai elections was 74.19%.
