On September 8, an incident involving an unmanned aerial vehicle occurred near the terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy, loading operations on vessels SHAK-3 and SHAK-2 (offshore berthing facilities) were temporarily suspended. However, after inspections, they resumed in normal mode.
The ministry stated that no restrictions were imposed on receiving oil from Kazakh shippers.
"After conducting the necessary inspections of CPC cargo systems and tankers, no issues affecting further loading operations were identified," the statement said.
On the night of September 9, Ukraine launched a drone attack on Novorossiysk. The CPC terminal is located near Novorossiysk.
The CPC pipeline transports 80% of Kazakhstan's oil exports.
