The final round matches of the Kazakhstan football Premier League have concluded. Ordabasy won gold ahead of schedule, Kairat took silver, and Astana claimed bronze. Zhetysu and Kaisar are relegated from the top flight. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Before the final round of KPL 2026, the season's last coaching changes took place. Rafael Urazbakhtin and Andrey Karpovich left their posts at Kairat and Elimai. The Almaty side failed to reach the coveted gold and flopped in European competitions. The Semey club had an unsuccessful debut in the Old World and missed out on 2027 European competitions.
Talgat Baisufinov, invited to Kaisar to save the season, could not revive the team in a short time. The Kyzylorda side lost 1:2 to Zhenis at Astana Arena and will play next season in the First League.
The second failure of KPL 2026 was Zhetysu, which in the 30th round at home could not beat Astana – 2:2.

If the Kyzylorda side wins, they will receive a European competition spot in addition to the honorary trophy. If the Shymkent side wins and completes a golden double, Okzhetpes will go to Europe next summer, along with Ordabasy, Kairat, and Astana.
