A resident of Kozy Korpеш street in the city of Kosshy endured a real horror. According to Nayza Kokshe, late in the evening an unknown man began persistently breaking down the door of her house. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
At that moment, only a woman and her school-age children were inside. The inadequate man forcefully pulled the handle and demanded to be let in, ignoring the screams of the frightened residents.
Emergency help could not be reached
The situation was worsened by the fact that it was impossible to call for help promptly — according to the victim, the special line "102" simply did not answer. The woman had to panic-write to a local community chat, and only after some time did she manage to contact the district police officer directly.
Police comment
The Police Department of Akmola Region commented on the night incident, confirming the detention of the offender. He turned out to be a 46-year-old man.
"On this fact, police officers identified a man born in 1978. According to the results of the check, the offender was brought to administrative responsibility for disturbing the peace and being in a public place in a state of alcohol intoxication. According to preliminary data, the man mistook the house," the department reported.
Residents demand lighting
Despite the fact that for the police the case ended with a protocol for drunkenness and noise, outraged residents of Kosshy intend to seek urgent installation of lighting from the local akimat, before another drunk "confused" person commits a more serious crime.
