Pensioners who live alone can take advantage of preferential electricity payment terms. The same right is available to people with disabilities living alone, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and persons equated to them. The official representative of Energosistema LLP, Dinara Zhanalina, explained which documents are required, according to Diapozon. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Who is eligible for the benefit
A pensioner's certificate alone is not enough: the person must live alone and own no more than one residential property. The same conditions apply to the other listed categories.
For them, a separate volume of electricity consumption is provided at the minimum tariff. It depends on whether the home has an electric stove.
"For beneficiaries using electric stoves, the consumption volume per person per month is 150 kW, the minimum tariff is 20.62 tenge, the maximum tariff is 27.76 tenge," Zhanalina said.
If there is no electric stove, the preferential volume is 130 kWh per month per person. In this case, according to the company, the minimum tariff is 20.73 tenge per kWh, the maximum is 27.76 tenge.
How to apply
To pay for electricity on preferential terms, one must contact their local service area. It is necessary to bring an identity card and the original document confirming the status of a pensioner, a person with a disability, a war veteran or a person equated to them.
Information about permanent registration from the eGov personal account and a certificate of real estate ownership are also required. The latter can be obtained through eGov or the Kaspi and Halyk applications.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that residents of one of Kazakhstan's cities were being intimidated with paid meter inspections.
