In Kazakhstan, document acceptance for technical and vocational, as well as post-secondary educational institutions, begins on June 25. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"For the 2026–2027 academic year, 140,000 places have been allocated to colleges under the state educational order," the official statement said.
Applicants can submit documents via the Egov.kz portal or in person at the college. A competitive selection is mandatory for those entering mid-level specialties and applied bachelor's programs. Additionally, the average grade in core subjects from the certificate is taken into account.
Graduates seeking a working qualification are admitted based on an interview, while those choosing pedagogical specialties write an essay or dictation. Creative exams are also provided for medical and creative specialties.
Document submission deadlines
- 01For working qualifications: June 25 to August 27;
- 02For mid-level specialties (based on grades 9 and 11): June 25 to August 22;
- 03For creative specialties: June 25 to July 20;
- 04For pedagogical specialties: June 25 to August 10;
- 05For medical specialties: based on grade 9 from June 25 to August 10, based on grade 11 and technical/vocational education from June 25 to August 15;
- 06For evening study mode: June 25 to September 20.
Quotas are provided for college admissions.
