Fine for Litter

Leaving household waste outside the door is considered littering common areas. Penalty: a fine of 10 MCI (43,250 tenge in 2026) or 40 hours of community service. If repeated within a year, the fine and service hours double. The same applies to construction materials. For piles in the yard, first a warning, then a fine of 20-30 MCI (86,500 – 129,750 tenge).

Smoking Ban

Smoking cigarettes, heated tobacco products, or hookah is prohibited in entrances. Fines: 15 MCI (64,875 tenge) for smoking, 5 MCI (21,625 tenge) for alcohol. If repeated, smoking fine rises to 86,500 tenge, plus 20 hours of community service or 5 days of administrative arrest.

Bicycles and Strollers

Leaving bicycles, strollers, or furniture on stair landings is not allowed as it hinders evacuation. For violating fire safety: fine of 5-10 MCI (21,625 – 43,250 tenge).

Wall Graffiti

Considered petty hooliganism: fine of 50 MCI (216,250 tenge) or administrative arrest for 5-20 days.

Pets

Leaving pets in the entrance violates sanitary norms: fine of 10-20 MCI (43,250 – 86,500 tenge).

Peace and Quiet

Noise is prohibited on weekdays from 22:00 to 09:00, on weekends from 23:00 to 10:00. Fines: individuals 5 MCI (21,625 tenge), small businesses 20 MCI (86,500 tenge), medium businesses 30 MCI (129,750 tenge), large businesses 100 MCI (432,500 tenge). If repeated, double. No fine for urgent work.
