Traffic of all types of vehicles has been temporarily restricted on a section of a republican highway in the Zhetisu region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to KazAvtoZhol, the restriction was introduced on July 30 at 21:45 on the KZ 05-02 "Koktal — Zharkent — Khorgos" highway from the 313th to the 319th kilometer, on the section adjacent to the villages of Usharal and Dikhankairat.
The company clarified that the decision was made in connection with the elimination of identified defects in the culvert structure.
Alternative traffic is carried out along the route Zharkent — Chulakai — Almaty — Shelek — Khorgos.
Traffic is tentatively planned to be opened on July 31 at 07:00.
