New details have emerged regarding the death of an 18-year-old man from electric shock in Kokshetau. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Earlier, it was reported that two young men, aged 18 and 17, were electrocuted "while working with metal." During work, a strong wind blew, causing the metal to fall onto a power line. As a result, both were electrocuted. The 18-year-old died, and the other was admitted to intensive care.
According to Almaty.tv, the tragic incident occurred at a car wash. "An 18-year-old worker and his assistant were dismantling metal structures. At that moment, one of the structures accidentally touched a high-voltage wire. He died at the scene," the report said.
The 17-year-old has been discharged from intensive care. He is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The police have opened a criminal case.
