In Kokshetau, a man entered a museum through a window at night. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on September 12. The Kokshetau city police department received a complaint from the director of the local museum about damaged property.
"At night, an unknown person entered the museum building and damaged a window in the basement. After that, the attacker entered the room where technical equipment is located. He damaged wires, seals, sensors and other equipment, and also caused damage to the heating system," police said.
The damage amounted to approximately 1 million tenge. A 32-year-old suspect has been detained, and an investigation is underway.
