An 18-year-old man died from an electric shock in Kokshetau. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The tragic incident occurred on July 22. Two young men, aged 18 and 17, were working with metal when they were electrocuted. During work, a strong wind blew, causing the metal to fall onto a power line. As a result, both young men were electrocuted.
According to the Health Department of Akmola Region, a call was received on July 22 to the emergency line 103 regarding an electrical injury. Preliminary information indicates that a young man born in 2008 was electrocuted. When the ambulance arrived, the young man had already died.
The 17-year-old who was at the scene survived and was hospitalized. Doctors say his life is not in danger.
