In the city of Kokshetau, cars that refueled at a gas station were unable to continue driving. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to information spread on social media, drivers refueled at the exit onto the Zerenda highway. Some vehicles failed to start on the territory of the gas station, while others stalled along the road. Drivers were forced to walk back to the city.

The entrepreneurship department of the city akimat confirmed the incident. According to information provided by the gas station itself, 15 cars were identified. All of them failed to start due to poor-quality gasoline.

"All vehicles have been sent to service stations to clean the fuel system. And warranty letters have been issued to the drivers," said akimat specialists. On the basis of the warranty letter, the management of the gas station will compensate for the damage.
