Tourist routes to the Kokshetau and Bolektau mountains have been temporarily closed to visitors. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The restriction was introduced yesterday at 07:00 due to the announcement of a high fire danger class.

"Restrictive measures have been introduced to ensure the safety of visitors and prevent the occurrence and spread of forest fires due to hot and dry weather," the statement said.

The administration of the Burabay State National Natural Park asks residents and guests of the park to understand the temporary restrictions.

This decision is primarily aimed at protecting human life and health, as well as the unique natural wealth of the national park.

Additional information will be provided about the reopening of tourist routes.
