Ten people were injured in an overnight Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Associated Press.
According to the city administration, several residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Among the injured are two children, who were taken to hospital. Their condition is currently stable.
Ukrainian air defense shot down about 20 missiles and 15 drones. However, falling debris caused fires in several districts of the city. Firefighters and rescuers are working at the scene.
Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv Military Administration, confirmed the scale of the attack and urged residents to take precautions. He said the strikes were mainly aimed at areas on the right bank of the city.
This attack is one of the latest in Russia's war against Ukraine. In previous days, fighting continued in frontline towns in Donetsk region.
