The national grid operator KEGOC plans to allocate 22.367 billion tenge for dividends for the first half of 2026. The payment will amount to 81.25 tenge per ordinary share. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The decision is planned to be approved at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on October 8.

Financial performance

According to information published on KEGOC's website, the company's net profit for January-June 2026 amounted to 54.6 billion tenge. Of this amount, 22.367 billion tenge is proposed to be allocated for dividend payments, while 32.256 billion tenge is to be left at the company's disposal for development.

Shareholder list and payment deadlines

The list of shareholders entitled to receive dividends is planned to be fixed on October 14, 2026. The start date of payments is recommended to be set for November 1.

For comparison, following the results of the first half of 2025, KEGOC paid shareholders 22.27 billion tenge, or 80.90 tenge per ordinary share.

Company history

KEGOC was established in 1996. As of July 1, 85% of the company's shares belong to Samruk-Kazyna. At the end of 2014, KEGOC placed 10% minus one ordinary share at 505 tenge per share on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) as part of the People's IPO program.

In 2023, as part of an additional issue, which the company calls an SPO, KEGOC placed another 5% of shares. Most of the shares were purchased by Kazakhstani investors.
