The search for a man born in 1999 who drowned while swimming in an unauthorized area in the Caspian Sea off the Mangystau region continues for the fourth day. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, search and rescue operations have been ongoing for the fourth day. Despite difficult weather conditions and strong sea waves, rescuers and divers continue to survey the water area and coastline.
As noted, the search is complicated by changing hydrometeorological conditions, limited underwater visibility, currents, and the large area to be examined.
A total of more than 40 specialists, watercraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, diving equipment, Ministry of Emergency Situations aviation, as well as forces from the Mangystau Regional Emergency Department, the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Border Service of the National Security Committee, the Naval Forces, the police department, and specialists from YKK Kazakhstan LLP are involved in the operation.
The search is conducted from water, air, and along the coastline. Diving teams are systematically examining the seabed and coastal waters in the area of the incident.
The search and rescue operation continues. The Ministry of Emergency Situations urged citizens to follow water safety measures, swim only in specially equipped areas, and trust official information.
