A search operation continues in the waters of the Caspian Sea. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The information was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense. Around the clock, hundreds of rescuers, aviation personnel and divers are searching for two servicemen who went missing during exercises.
On September 24, a sea wave swept 17 people into the open sea. It later became known that 12 servicemen died and three were rescued.
Hundreds of rescuers, aviation personnel and divers are involved in the search operation. The work is being carried out around the clock without interruption.
