The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported that three adults were rescued on the Kapshagai reservoir after strong winds swept their pontoon boat far from shore. The drifting vessel was discovered, towed to shore, and the people were safely evacuated. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
A report about the incident on the water area of the reservoir in the city of Konayev was received today at the 112 dispatch center.
"All three citizens were rescued and did not require medical assistance," the ministry noted.
