Cambodia's ministries want to learn from Kazakhstan's experience in digital public services. This was stated by the country's Prime Minister Hun Manet during a meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Akorda. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
"Kazakhstan has significant experience and advanced developments in the field of e-government. Our ministries are very interested in exchanging experience in this area," Hun Manet emphasized.
The Prime Minister thanked Tokayev for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan and recalled that the countries have maintained diplomatic relations for more than 30 years.
Another area of cooperation could be energy. Hun Manet proposed instructing the relevant agencies of the two countries to identify joint projects of mutual interest.
During the talks, the parties also discussed strengthening political dialogue, trade and economic ties, and interaction on multilateral platforms.
Recall that Hun Manet arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit and met with Tokayev in Akorda. During the negotiations, the President also proposed discussing direct flights between the countries.
In July 2026, at a meeting in Shanghai, Tokayev had already proposed sharing Kazakhstan's digital public service developments with Cambodia. At that time, Hun Manet confirmed his readiness to support joint projects.
