A California couple has been charged with multiple counts of abusing at least 14 surrogate-born children, some as young as two months old, and dissuading a witness. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.

According to CBS News, the BBC's US partner, the pair pleaded not guilty at a Pasadena courthouse. The charges include abusing at least 14 children and dissuading a witness. Some of the children were only two months old.

The Los Angeles District Attorney described the mansion where the children were living as a 'House of Horrors.'
