Jean Paul Gaultier presented clothing that breaks the usual proportions of the human body at Paris Fashion Week. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

This year, Durand Lantinka made his debut as the house's couturier. He managed to surprise the audience. Critics compared the collection to the film "The Fifth Element": rigid shapes, high collars, futuristic silhouettes. In some places, the neck was visually hidden, in others the hips were enlarged.

But the most attention was drawn to a piece with a twisted waist on a male model. The video of this corset garnered about 10,000 likes on Instagram and witty comments:

"This is exactly how my body feels every day,"

"Get an office job," they said.

Commentators call it a successful Halloween costume and a disgrace to high fashion. Some jokingly called it the democratization of fashion: this time, not only women but also men walked the runway in uncomfortable clothes.

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle wrote that a collection inspired by Indian culture was shown at Paris Fashion Week. Models with three heads, temple dresses, and stylization of ancient statues — designer Rahul Mishra received many enthusiastic reviews.
