The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the start of limited, localized, and targeted raids against Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Israeli military personnel detected two groups of militants delivering anti-tank missiles and weapons to the security zone in southern Lebanon.

"The IDF identified several Hezbollah terrorists transporting anti-tank missiles to the security zone in southern Lebanon. The terrorists entered the security zone by vehicle and unloaded the anti-tank missiles into a structure in the area. After other Hezbollah terrorists brought additional weapons to the structure and entered it, the IDF carried out an airstrike to eliminate the threat," the statement said.

The press service noted that "secondary detonations were recorded after the strike, confirming the presence of weapons inside the structure."

Earlier, Kursiv reported that Israel and Lebanon signed a framework peace agreement mediated by the United States.
