In the final of the continental championship, the athlete defeated Hong Kong's Kaylin Sen with a score of 15:12. The 28-year-old fencer became the first representative of the national team to win a continental competition in the individual épée event.
It is worth noting that previously, Kazakh blade masters had never won any medals at the Asian Championships in individual events.
