Kazakh Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov and President of Iranian food holding Solico Group Gholam Ali Soleimani signed an investment agreement aimed at implementing a major project in deep milk processing. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The large project, designed for 155,000 tons of products per year, is planned to be built in the Almaty region. The total investment volume is 35.2 billion tenge. Currently, construction and installation work is underway on the designated site.
Gholam Ali Soleimani noted Kazakhstan's high potential as a regional food production center and expressed interest in further expanding the company's investment presence in the country. The investment agreement provides for the necessary engineering infrastructure at the production site, as well as a wide range of state benefits.
The plant's construction is scheduled to be completed and commissioned in 2029. According to the signed agreement, the investor will create 400 permanent jobs, train Kazakh specialists, and improve their qualifications. Modern technologies and new practices will also be introduced in production.
Additionally, the company plans to allocate 50 million tenge annually to support local communities and implement social projects in the Almaty region from 2028 to 2038.
