Over the next three days, a northwestern cyclone will continue to dominate the territory of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing meteorologists from Kazhydromet.
Due to the cyclone's passage and the collision of hot and cold air masses, heavy rain with thunderstorms, stormy wind intensification are expected in the north and east of the country, and hail is possible in some areas.
Air temperature for residents of northern regions will be comfortable: during the day the air will warm up to only +22…+27 degrees.
However, residents of western and southern regions will be less fortunate. They face a new wave of heat. Warm air coming from Iran will push thermometers up to +34…+39 degrees in the west and +37…+42 degrees in the south.

Due to the ongoing abnormal heat, severe drought is forecast in some regions of Kazakhstan. It will cover seven regions at once: West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Atyrau, Almaty, Zhambyl, Turkistan and Kyzylorda regions.
