Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri announced the update of the social network's logo and wordmark. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to him, the wordmark has been changed for the first time in ten years. The updated version is more modern and concise, while maintaining a connection to the brand's original design.

"The text at the top of the app has remained unchanged for ten years, so it was time to refresh it. The new version is more concise and modern, but retains references to the original design, its simplicity and attention to detail that have always been part of Instagram," Mosseri noted.

The new design is already in use in the app.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that Meta has begun rolling out its AI tool Muse Image for creating and editing images. The model is already integrated into Meta AI and will serve as the basis for more than 30 effects in Instagram Stories, with plans to expand its capabilities to WhatsApp, Facebook, and Messenger in the future.
