The international industrial exhibition Innoprom has opened in Yekaterinburg. It was attended by heads of government of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The Innoprom exhibition is being held at the Yekaterinburg-Expo international exhibition center from July 6 to 9. The total area of the exhibition exposition is 50 thousand square meters. It features innovative developments and projects of leading industrial and technological enterprises.
A delegation of Kazakhstan led by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and Minister of Industry and Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev is participating in the international exhibition. The Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan opened the 8th meeting of the Council on Industrial Policy, organized within the framework of the Innoprom international industrial exhibition.
In his speech, he emphasized the importance of implementing joint innovative projects in accordance with the long-term priorities of industrial development of the EAEU member states. Also discussed were mechanisms for financial support of industrial cooperation, expansion of cooperation in the field of robotics, development of common information resources, and other topical issues.
