Another Infiniti is set to appear in Kazakhstan. As Kursiv Media found out, the premium QX60 crossover has received vehicle type approval, and the document specifies a petrol V6, all-wheel drive and two cabin variants. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The vehicle type approval for the Infiniti QX60 was registered on 2 October 2026 and is valid until 1 October 2029. The applicant was Exclusive Auto Kazakhstan, which represents the brand in Kazakhstan and several other countries in the region.

The official Infiniti dealer's website currently lists the QX50, QX55 and QX80. Thus, the QX60 will become the fourth model in the local line-up. A distributor representative previously said the updated Infiniti QX60 was planned to be brought to Kazakhstan before the end of 2026.

According to the approval, the Infiniti QX60 certified for Kazakhstan has a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated VQ35 engine designed for AI-95 petrol and higher. The six-cylinder motor develops 208 kW (283 hp) at 6400 rpm and 350 N·m at 4800 rpm.

The vehicle has all-wheel drive, and the engine is mounted transversely at the front. The distributor previously specified a nine-speed automatic for the model.

The QX60 in the Kazakh approval has two cabin variants. The first has six seats in a 2+2+2 layout, the second has seven in a 2+3+2 layout.

The vehicle's dimensions are 5041×1981×1780 mm, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. The kerb weight is listed in the range of 2145–2160 kg. In addition, the crossover will be able to tow a trailer weighing up to 1500 kg.

Official prices and the start date of sales are not yet known.

Earlier, Kursiv Media reported that Infiniti sales in Kazakhstan grew against the backdrop of a decline in the premium segment.
