Indonesian authorities have confirmed that a sports shoe shop was torn apart by an explosion in the San Antonio area of Surabaya. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.
Police said five people had been taken to hospital following the incident, which was "strongly suspected" to be the result of a gas leak. No suspicious substances or explosives were found at the site.
They added that at least 41 buildings had been damaged by the explosion.
