The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Kazakhstan has warned citizens about the spread of fake SMS messages regarding enrollment in educational institutions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the ministry, scammers are sending SMS with the text "You have been enrolled in studies," prompting citizens to click on fake links. The MIA emphasized that such messages are not official and urged people not to trust them.
The ministry recommends that citizens contact the police if they receive suspicious messages. The MIA also advises using only official sources of information.
