Russian Foreign Ministry's special envoy Rodion Miroshnik said that 545 residents, including 20 children, were killed and 3,720 wounded in the Kherson region from Ukrainian attacks over the past six months. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to him, at least 6,500 munitions were fired at civilian targets in June alone. "Ukrainian drones flew over the market of the city of Aleshki for several hours, attacking everyone who tried to go outside," Miroshnik said.
Kherson region governor Vladimir Saldo said that since the beginning of the year, 20 ambulances have been damaged, six medical workers killed, and another 20 wounded.
The Kherson region became part of Russia in September 2022.
