Helen Mirren has for the first time commented on rumors of a tense atmosphere on the set of the series 'Gangsterland', where she works alongside Tom Hardy. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The actress stated that she would gladly work with him again on a project. Mirren said she would like to work with Hardy again.

"Absolutely. With great pleasure. I love Tom, I think he's a fantastic actor," the actress said.

According to Mirren, every artist has their own approach to work, and that's perfectly normal.

"Different actors have different processes. Over many years, I've realized that some people get to the result faster. But as long as what we see on screen turns out fantastic, I'm fine with it. Tom is a very special person. He's absolutely wonderful," she noted.

Earlier, rumors emerged that Tom Hardy was regularly late to the set, causing delays and dissatisfaction among the crew, leading to his dismissal after the end of the second season. However, despite this, he continues to participate in the project.

Hardy himself recently admitted that after many years of filming physically demanding roles, he has faced health issues. According to the actor, he has undergone two knee surgeries, suffers from a hernia and sciatica, and plans to take a long break after completing work on the second season of 'Gangsterland'.
